The North Penn High School Combined Music Ensembles perform "The Hallelujah Chorus" from Messiah, by George Frederic Handel. This was the finale of the North Penn High School 2007 Winter Concert performed on the evening of December 17, 2007, and features the 200+ members of the North Penn High School Chorus on the risers, with the 100+ members of the North Penn High School Orchestra playing on stage along with additional musicians from the other North Penn High School bands. Under the direction of Dr. Davis Giersch (vocal) and Erica Milbourne (musicians), the combined music ensembles, in keeping with a long-standing tradition at North Penn High School, invited any North Penn Music Alumni to join in the peformance. Perhaps 50 alumni came up and joined in for a total of 350-400 people on stage and risers for the culmination of the concert. It was truly awesome! Once again, thanks to all the Guys & Gals of the North Penn High School music ensembles for a fantastic evening of Holiday entertainment! This video was taken from the balcony of the auditorium with a digital still camera (fixed frame). I also used a camcorder (pan and zoom) and hope to post that video at a later date. Enjoy!
